After a week full of emotions in the 4YFN, very enriching talks, mentorships that changed the perspective of the project and meeting very interesting people from around the world, the uHandle team has presented the project to the international jury obtaining the first prize as the Best Overall Project!

Finalist teams from New Zealand, Chile, Mexico, United States, Ecuador and Catalonia traveled to 4YFN in Barcelona where they had the chance to pitch their projects to investors, attend mentoring sessions and meet the international entrepreneurial ecosystem. The project uHandle, from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, won Best Overall Project getting a 3,000 euros grand prize and a fellowship to the Founder Institute, an american startup incubator based in Silicon Valley which have been created over 3500 companies and raised over $800M funding in total.

mSchools SDG Challenge at 4YFN EdTech Track

SDG Challenge is an international competition addressed to undergraduate students to design innovative solutions to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals by applying technology.

In an increasingly interconnected world where it is impossible to predict the jobs of the future, the EdTech Track shed light on how to build a society of lifelong learners capable of adapting to a rapidly changing world and confronting the challenges we face as a society.
